Sper Scientific¡¯s Integrating Sound Datalogger measures and records sound pressure level (SPL) over time to?calculate cumulative sound exposure (LEQ).
Sper Scientific¡¯s Integrating Sound Datalogger measures sound pressure level (SPL) according to A or C weighting and integrates the weighted SPL over an established length of time (such as an 8-hour workday) to calculate cumulative sound exposure (LEQ). Test parameters are simultaneously displayed on a large, bright, backlit display, featuring 0.1 dB resolution and a bar graph. Up to 64,000 data records can be stored in the meter, saved, graphed, and processed on a computer through the USB interface and included software.
The bidirectional USB port and software also enable control of the meter via its on-screen image. Features include SPL and LEQsound level readings, fast and slow time weighting, A and C frequency weightings, and over-limit and under-limit alarms. A single dynamic 30 to 130 dB range eliminates the need to manually select ranges and prevents data errors during range changes in auto-ranging models. Accurate within ¡À1.0 dB, and meets or exceeds all other specs for an IEC 61672:2013 Class 2 and ANSI S1.4:2014 Type 2 meter. Calibrate in compliance with OSHA using Acoustical Calibrator 850016.
Comes in a foam-lined protective carrying case, complete with a windscreen, USB computer connection power cable, instructions, calibration tool, recorder output plug, and 4 AA batteries, which provide about 30 hours of use and free downloadable software (Windows 11 PC's Only).?
This instrument features a tripod mount, and we recommend using a tripod for the most stable and accurate readings.
