The Winged Sentry is a compact benchtop air filtration system designed to provide an energy-efficient, quiet and economical solution for source-capture fume extraction.

Engineered for laboratory, industrial and commercial environments, the Winged Sentry captures airborne fumes, smoke, vapors and particulates directly at the source while helping protect the operator’s breathing zone.

One of the system’s most distinctive features is its infinitely adjustable “wing flaps,” which help direct airborne contaminants toward the unit’s inlet and away from the operator. Combined with the hinged clear acrylic lid, the system creates a semi-enclosed hood-like workspace without the size and restrictions of a traditional fume hood. The adjustable wings can be positioned to optimize airflow for a specific application or folded flat against the unit when workspace conservation is important.

The newest generation in this product line, the WSL2 Model 300 Generation 2, includes several upgraded features designed to improve usability and performance. Enhancements include an adjustable LED light and an advanced control panel that allows the operator to regulate fan speed, adjust lighting intensity and monitor filter saturation and runtime through an integrated digital display.

The Winged Sentry offers many of the benefits of a traditional fume hood in a compact benchtop format. Filtration Options

Appropriate filtration media are selected based on the contaminants generated during the application. The Winged Sentry supports multiple high-efficiency filtration configurations for particulate and chemical fume removal.

The system utilizes a dual-stage filtration process consisting of:

• A MERV 8 Pre-Filter for capturing larger particulates and extending HEPA filter life.

• A HEPA Filter rated up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 micrometers and larger.

Depending on the application, other filtration configurations may include:
